Timeless Teachings

Relating is multidimensional. We relate with ourselves; we relate with others, and we relate with the world around us. The important factor to understand is how do we relate; what qualities do we bring forth when we relate with ourselves, with others our with the world around us. Our ways of relating with ourselves will affect our relating with others and the world around us. The opposite is also true; how others relate with us has an impact on our ways of relating. It becomes therefore important to first clarify our ways of relating before we can discover and practice new, more effective, and fruitful ways of relating. 


Course content
With talks, interactive structures, guided and active meditations as well as sharing in various formats, this module will be an opportunity to understand, explore and experience different aspects of relating.  

Day one → The Need to be Understood
We relate in order to be understood. Being understood is a crucial necessity for everyone. This first day will be dedicated to exploring the different aspects that understanding carries. ‘What do I want?’ is the important question. Talks, interactive structures, and sharing will support your understanding of what being understood implies.

Day two → Building Self-Confidence
Self-confidence is often not a reality for many. With interactive structures you will be able to contact your strength centre, the Hara, and thus regain your power to say no and to set boundaries.

Day three → Communicating Effectively
Once our self-confidence is re-established, once we know what we want and don’t want, communicating effectively will allow relaxation and easiness in being in life. This third day, we will be dedicated to learning and practicing healthy ways of communication.
